Ground spacers are used in soft substrates, e.g. insulation and sand. The spacer can support bars up to 16 mm in diameter, the base plate diameter is 90 mm. The spacer’s recess hole provides excellent contact with the concrete around the reinforcement. The dimensions of the two sealing layers are clearly marked on the base plate. Count on using 2–3 spacers per square meter. One tip is to install the spacer at the mesh intersection before placing the mesh in the formwork. The spacers are packed in bags, suitable for small jobs.
